FAQ

We hold a virtual video session over Zoom every Monday from 11am-12pm EST as well as Wednesdays from 12pm-1pm EST.

You’ll be invited to check in at the beginning of group to share how you’re currently feeling. Otherwise, you don’t have to say a word. Stay on camera and listen in while you do laundry, fill out paperwork or cozy up on the couch.

Our drop ins are intimate in size so you can get enough time to share and get feedback, if you want it.

Our individual sessions are a safe place to go into detail on whatever you’re working through. You get to set the pace and what you want to talk about—individually with one of our trained coaches.

Yes. Coach Joi has conferred degrees as a Professional Addiction Counselor. To ethically, and legally meet clients outside of her local state, she is not licensed in her state as that would violate those laws. Coach Joi draws upon decades of experience and countless years of training and certifications programs to meet clients across the globe to help correct abuse, restore dignity and change the language around victim blaming.

A coach focuses on helping you move forward, whether that means building self-awareness, setting goals or breaking through unhelpful patterns. It’s present- and future-oriented, with an emphasis on personal growth and healing.

Unlike therapy, coaching is not designed to treat mental health diagnoses. However, Coach Joi is a certified counsellor with professional training, which means she brings trauma-informed care into the coaching space. Her approach is supportive, strategic, and grounded — blending the best of coaching momentum with the nuance and sensitivity of counselling, for those who want to grow with guidance that’s both heart-led and psychologically aware.
