Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the privacy terms of our website, www.CenFP.org. We are committed to maintaining the privacy of CenFP.org users. Center For Peace provides a public service to individual consumers who may access the CenFP.org website (“Users”) for Center For Peace information or to receive services from an APSATS coach.

Information We Collect

Before collecting any personal data from you, we ask your explicit consent for us to store this data and confirm you agree with this privacy policy. Here are the different alternatives with which we gather the information:

Information You Explicitly Give Us

When you send an email to anyone at Center For Peace or through the CenFP.org website through a contact form, your name, email address, and message is recorded as part of the transmission process. When you email us through the CenFP.org email messaging system, you’re conveniently and automatically emailed a notification when the coach has been contacted, and may opt in to a subscription to our email newsletters. You may unsubscribe from this email newsletter by completing the unsubscribe form. We collect your email when you subscribe to a newsletter. We collect your name and email when you comment on a blog post (though your email is not shown for others to see). We collect information entered by clients when they register for a support call or a support group. This information is kept private in a database and may be used by our internal departments if needed (such as debugging errors or analyzing outcome of marketing campaigns) as required. CenFP.org never rents, sells, or gives this information to any other third party. Note that we do not collect any payment information when you subscribe to one of our services. We have an agreement with Stripe and Acuity Scheduling who collect the payment data.

Information We Collect Automatically

We collect information from users at a number of different points on our website. We utilize software at times to record user activity to improve the usability of our website, but we do not see any private information (such as names, email addresses, or any other personally identifiable information) in doing so. Here’s a list of information that may be tracked: Your network routing information (where you come from). Your Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet and may identify your general geographic location or company. Your computer and connection information such as browser type, version, and time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system, and platform.

Third Party Services We Use That Track User Information

Google Analytics collects information from users such as IP address, general location and page usage. You can read about Google Analytics’ Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy on the following pages by clicking here. Hotjar allows us to watch users as they interact with CenFP.org. We can not see any personal user information through this software. This helps us to make the website more user-friendly. Nelio allows us to conduct experiments on the website to optimize the information. A cookie may be stored on your local machine which will show you one possible version of the website. Once the experiment has finished, we pick the winning version of the website and that becomes the live version for everyone to see.

Publicly Available Data From Other Sources

We may also store certain information from automated interactions on websites other than CenFP.org or other data you may have made publicly available. This information may include:Your name, your social account, and Personal Data that is public on that account when providing a rate review or participating on social media (for example, the WordPress Plugin Directory, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest or Instagram). Your information is kept confidential and is made available only to trained CenFP.org support team for purposes of maintaining CenFP.org. CenFP.org never rents, sells, or gives your information to any other third party.

How We Use The Data We Collect

We may use AdWords, Facebook, or other third party marketing to market our website(s) across the Internet. Google, Facebook, or other third party sites place a cookie on a browser. Google, Facebook, or third party sites read cookies and may present a CenFP.org ad on a third party site. You may opt out of Google’s remarketing here. You may opt out of Facebook’s remarketing here. Users who opt-in to subscribe and join our community will be sent occasional email updates on helpful resources related to Center For Peace. We use tracking software to make our website easier to use.

Information Disclosure

We don’t sell or otherwise provide personally identifiable information collected through our website and services to third parties, except as specifically authorized by the user.

Cookies

CenFP.org uses cookies to identify which areas of our website you have visited, so the next time you visit, we can better personalize the content that you see on our website. In addition, our website uses third-party cookies (such as Google Analytics cookies) to optimize and personalize the advertising content on our website. Most web browsers can be set to disable the use of Cookies. However, if you disable Cookies, you may not be able to use certain functionality on our website correctly, or at all. CenFP.org never places your personal information in Cookies.

Log Files

Like most standard website servers, CenFP.org uses log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information contained in user profiles.

Disclosures to Successors

If CenFP.org is acquired or merges, in whole or in part, to another entity that would become responsible for providing services to you, we would have the right to transfer your personal information to such entity and that entity would have the right to use such information according to the terms of this Privacy Policy as well as to any changes to this Privacy Policy as instituted by such entity.

Our website will likely contain links to other websites. CenFP.org has no control of such websites and you agree that these websites are not under our control and are not subject to our Privacy Policy. These websites will likely have their own privacy policies. We have no responsibility for these websites and provide links to these websites solely for your convenience. You acknowledge that your use and access of these websites is solely at your own risk. It is your responsibility to check the privacy policies and other legal documents of these websites to see how they treat your personally identifiable information.

Payment Sources

Users may have to provide a payment source (i.e. credit card) to schedule support calls and/or register for support groups on CenFP.org. Users understand that CenFP.org uses Stripe or PayPal to process payment in exchange for providing our services. Users understand and agree that we cannot control nor can we be liable for the acts of Stripe or PayPal. If you see what you believe to be fraudulent transactions regarding payments to our website, please contact us immediately. We will work with you and authorities as best we can to help resolve such issues.

Email Policy

CenFP.org fully complies with the CAN-SPAM Act as enacted in the United States. You can always opt out of receipt of further email correspondence from CenFP.org. We agree that we will not sell, rent, or trade your email address to any unaffiliated third-party.

Security Policy

CenFP.org uses reasonable safeguards to protect personally identifiable information about Users. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive financial information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with SSL. Only CenFP.org administrators or employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to such personally identifiable information. All administrators and employees are trained and kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Any time new policies are added, our administrators and employees are trained in the policies.
